"22 Megabites" is a fast and modern 6.7mts Coastal Explorer and is very comfortable for up to 5 adults. If you have
more children to be included, please discuss your requirements with us and we will try and accommodate all your needs.
This vessel has a large cockpit that's generous with space for fishing.
The vessel has seating for everyone and if you wish to sit and fish then you may relax and do so.
The vessel also has a small private flush toilet which is practical when you are out on the water. No holding up and being uncomfortable waiting for the trip to end. You have paid to come out fishing , so we make you comfortable with the size of the boat.
The Vessel has all the latest safety equipment, including good quality life jackets, an EPIRB ,life ring, smoke flares, a VHF Radio and all other safety gear as required by Maritime New Zealand for the running of a commercial passenger vessel.
With twin Evinrude etec outboard engines which could do 30 knots on a good day and cruises at 18 knots, this certainly helps to blast you off into the Hauraki Gulf in the shortest possible time and give you more time to spend on your fishing.
There is a live bait tank onboard often used when we are targeting Kingfish or Large Snapper.
The vessel has a underfloor fuel tank and stores ample fuel. Additionally it has a game chair and outriggers when a trip is so desired to trawl for some big game fish.
A special feature is the under floor ballast tanks that fills with water when stationery and makes the keel heavy so you don't feel much of a rough sea.
With all these features this is truly a vessel that has been enjoyed by many a small group who have enjoyed memorable fishing trips on this vessel.
